Hmm..where to start? -Alphabet Challenge

Hmm.. so this being my first time blogging, I'm not sure where to start. I found a bunch of blog challenges doing a google search online. I thought it would be perfect to start one of the challenges on Friday, April 1st. However, I want to write now while the mood strikes.

I found this alphabet challenge to write a word to go with each letter and then a little description on why that word relates to you.

• Amusement Parks- I love going to them! I laugh and laugh all day long riding the rides. 
• Bargain Shopping- I'm good at it and I make it a challenge to save money when possible.
• Crafts- I love being crafty!
• Dreams- I believe everyone should have dreams and not be afraid to chase after them.
• Education- I believe education is highly important.
• Fire Department- That's taken up a large portion of my life since I was 17 years old.
• GPS- I would be lost everywhere I go without it.
• Heart- I believe in following what your heart tells you to do.
• Instruments- I played clarinet and sousaphone/marching contra through out my school years.
• Jobs- I love being a mommy the most!
• Kids- They are precious, I love kids.
• Love- Could make the world go round in my opinion.
• My Son- My world!
• Nails- I love getting my nails done every 2-3 weeks. It's my spoiling kick right now for myself :)
• Outdoors- I love being outside when it's nice out.
• Penguins- My grandparents have this weird thing about liking penguins. I use to say my grandpa looked like a penguin when he was dressed up in his tux when I was little.
• Quiet- I do enjoy having quiet time but I would rather be surrounded by people for the most part.
• River- I enjoy boating out on the river.
• Summer- My favorite time of the year!
• Traveling- I love exploring new places , people and things.
• Undies- I have a little addiction here. I love buying all kinds of cute undies especially when I find them on sale.
• Vehicle- My dream vehicle is a toss up between a black Cadillac Esclade and a yellow Mustang GT.
• Winter- I hate it!
• X -Rays- Ankle, knee, wrist, thumb, back, head, chest..3 of those happened due to 1 accident
• Yellow- One of my favorite colors
• Zoo- I enjoy going to the zoo however a couple times a year is enough for me.

Welcome to my blog

Hi, Welcome to my blog. I have never blogged before, so please bare with me. I have decided to start this for many reasons; a place to vent, to share life experiences, to gain feedback from others, to share my creative ideas, etc. I have a couple friends who blog, they got me on this kick. Feel free to follow me as I go into my first blogging journey :)

I am a mommy to an amazing little boy who will be 3 years old in June. He is my world and has taught me the true definition of un-conditional love. I'm a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT for a small rural fire department. I have been with that department for almost 6 years and I started the emergency service field almost 2 years prior to that. I'm an EMT for the local water rescue team and have been with the team for 4 years or so. I love helping out others, I feel it's a great way to give back. I enjoy event planning and decorating when the opportunities arise for profit and non-profit. I'm a daughter, a grand-daughter, a sister, and a friend. I guess you could say, I wear many name tags. The rest about me is just little details that make me, me.
